Chat with us about Positive Affirmations!

What actually are positive affirmations?:

Positive affirmations, as defined by medicinenet, are positive phrases or statements used to challenge and eliminate negative or unhelpful thoughts that would usually hold one back. Practicing positive affirmations can be extremely simple and doesn’t necessarily require the time that manifesting can sometimes take!

The phrases can relate to any area of your life, from parenting to school or exercise. The more often you read, write or say your affirmations, the more likely you are to change your thought patterns and bring your energy into a more positive space. So, with the use of the right affirmations and a little bit of faith in the universe, we’re able to reduce our negative thoughts, empower ourselves and work to achieve our dreams!

Do affirmations even work?

A lot of people can get a bit skeptical when it comes to positive affirmations, and rightly so! It can be hard to implement new things into your life, but we promise it’s worth it!

Affirmations have been proven in many scientific studies - take this one for example:

This study showed that spending a few minutes a day repeating and fully focusing on your strengths before a high-pressured meeting (such as an interview or a work review) can help calm your nerves, increase your confidence, and improve the likelihood of a successful outcome!

We can’t promise you that by practicing positive affirmations you’ll all of a sudden get your dreams come true and become rich - but, your mindset will shift into a more positive space, and depending on what affirmations you are practicing, you’ll become more confident, resilient and strong.

As a lot of you may have experienced already, life can be pretty unpredictable at times. There’s often situations in life that we can’t control, and that’s okay! By using positive affirmations, we can get better at focusing on the good stuff in life, bouncing back from the unexpected bad times, and having the confidence to chase our dreams!
